I received my 1st degree from Southern Methodist
University in 1978 and completed my Doctor of Business Administration
degree in 2001. My Bachelor of Business Administration degree is
with a triple major (Business, Real Estate, and Management Science &
Computers). I have spent most of the years between either starting
or managing various companies. I began my real estate career with a
Texas real estate license in 1976 and my technology career with training
in computers while in the Military Intelligence during the Vietnam War.
The love of my life is Mary. We started our
partnership January
of 1970 and have had some interesting times, traveling the world. We
have lived and worked in Central and South America, Africa, as well as
Europe. Mary is also my business partner. She received her FL
real estate license in 1991 and helps me keep Gibbins Real Estate and
Consulting going. Mary holds the ABR, AHWD, CRS, e-PRO, and GRI
designations with NAR. She has been consistently a top producing
Realtor since she began her real estate career.
To
complete our family is Robbie. He is my pride and joy serving in
Afghanistan an now with the Port St. Lucie police department. Robbie
has been a black belt in Tae Kwon Do since he was 12 years old. He
loves to shoot and work with his saltwater fish tank.
There have been many changes since the beginning.
Eugene has always been multi-tasking and an organizer. His greatest
joy is helping others and creating from scratch. He created many
companies from scratch both in real estate and the computer industries.
He currently is a mentor with the Big Brothers/Big Sisters program and
serves on several boards and associations. In the past he has served
as President of the Realtors Association of St. Lucie, President of the
International Council of the Treasure Coast, President of the Regional
MLS, President of the Florida Chapter CRS (Certified Residential
Specialist), District Vice President of the Florida Association of
Realtors, and is currently on the Board of Directors of the National CRB
(Certified Real Estate Brokers). Dr. Gibbins was honored by
receiving the Humanitarian of the Year in 2002 and the Realtor of the Year
in 2003.
Dr. Gibbins
holds the following designations, certifications and licenses
ABR, (Accredited Buyer"s Representative), ABRM, (Accredited Buyer"s
Representative Manager), AHWD (At Home with Diversity), CIPS (Certified
International Property Specialist), CRB (Certified Real Estate Broker),
CRS (Certified Residential Specialist), e-PRO (Internet Professional
Realtor), and GRI (Graduate Realtor Institute). A Florida and
Texas real esate license as well as a Florida real estate instructors
license teaching at Indian River Community College, Gibbins School of
Real Estate and Technology, and Florida Association of Realtors.
